Mr. And Mrs. Suitcase

Two nights before my sisters wedding, I finally decided on her gift! But that meant going on a hunt for a vintage suitcase. First I went to Goodwill. It was a bust. I was about to give up and just give her money, when I remembered a cute little store in my home town, Encore. I ran in and quickly looked through the store, I was on my way out the door when I spotted this perfect HOT pink vintage suitcase.

I cut out the vinyl with my Silhouette and slowly stuck it on! For some reason it did not want to stick. I was about to give up when my mom stepped in and finished it for me!

I put a cute little poem in it and it will be the perfect thing to keep all of their wedding treasures.

I made one for my other sister, and she said it is so handy to keep everything in and go back to look at. Here is hers!

Bridal Bouquet Ornament

My best friend got married in May, and left her bridal bouquet at my house to dry. It was hanging awkwardly in my guest bedroom inside a brown bag. I saw a post on a Silhouette page that I follow that had the petals in an ornament. Perfect! I got out her bouquet and picked out some of the better (not moldy) flowers! I found a plastic ornament at Hobby Lobby and filled it with the petals. Then I cut out Mr. & Mrs. out of gold vinyl and 2014. I tied a little bow on it and boxed it up! I like that it is small and she can remember her wedding every year at Christmas time!

Cooler

I've made a couple of these coolers for the weddings I have been to this summer.

First, I cut out the letters on scrapbook paper using my silhouette.

Then, I traced the letters with a fine line paint pen.

Finally, I colored it in using paint pen and this "Mean Streak" pen that is waterproof.

My Best Friend's Wedding: Ft. Lauderdale Bachelorette Party

We headed to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a Bachelorette Party. We stayed at a VRBO at Ocean Manor. It was a deal and perfect for us!
I made us cups and stuffed them with pony tail holders, chapstick, and "hangover helpers."
Our Bride's Mates shirts I made with the Silhouette and Heat Transfer Vinyl.

We survived!

More pics of the cups

Waiting to go to dinner!

Dinner at Shooters. This place was delicious and beautiful!
A sail boat ride with Tropical Sailing.
Tiki Bar right outside our hotel! Perfect beach view!

My Best Friend's Wedding: Programs

I designed these in Silhouette Studio as well. We had them printed on the same paper as the invites, but used a corner rounder to round all of the corners.

I designed these using the Silhouette Studio program. I saved it as a pdf and printed it at FedEx Office.

We used the Silhouette to address the envelopes too!

Bachelorette Party!

We had a KC bachelorette party for the Bride To Be, Erica! She requested a "Little Black Dress" theme. We all wore black, and she wore white! We had a great time and had some laughs!

We started the night with a lingerie shower and then headed out for a night on the Plaza!

Card that was an insert in the invitation, so we could play the game below!

Spring Bridal Shower

My bestie is getting married!! We threw her a wine tasting spring shower. We tasted 6 white wines as our "game." It was a beautiful spring day! Here are a few pictures!
I made the invites in Silhouette, printed them at home on card stock, and added this beautiful lace from Hobby Lobby.

Fall Wedding Decorations

I love how these pumpkins turned out! I cut out the gold vinyl on my Silhouette and Emily took it from there! She painted pumpkins with white and gold glitter and added the vinyl decals!

I also cut out song lyrics that they liked and she stuck them on frames with pictures of them. These letters were small and I think she was cursing me the whole time!

My mom and her girls at the wedding!
